Finley High School represents a symbol of a significant educational landmark in Chester County, SC. The state of South Carolina has designated Finley as a historical site in Chester and placed a marker on the Finley campus that will educate the public about the history of Finley. In addition, Finley High School has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America
